Supervisor: Emily Brems, LMFT

I specialize in working with adult individuals to address work anxiety, major life transitions, and chronic stress management while they carry the weight of others. I am particularly dedicated to providing a supportive space for those managing the unique complexity of caregiver burnout and complex trauma symptoms—I am here to help you move from survival mode toward a life of balance.

As a counselor, I bring a deep personal appreciation for the resilience required to navigate high-stress work environments, complex family dynamics, and the daily realities of anxiety. Having personally walked the demanding path of single parenting and balancing heavy caregiving responsibilities, I understand that supporting a loved one can feel like an isolating, uphill battle wen trying to manage your own well-being.

Utilizing evidence-based modalities like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), I’ll collaborate with you to discover a holistic (“whole person”) path forward to healing. We’ll identify thought patterns that contribute to anxiety; develop tools for staying grounded in the moment; and utilize mindfulness and somatic techniques to address the connection between mind and body. My goal is to help you safely transition into sustainable strength and personal renewal.
