Eileen Brandt

I believe relationships shape our lives and our stories. They can be our greatest struggles, but also our greatest sources of meaning and joy. This can be especially true for the relationship between caregiver and child. Behavioral and emotional issues coupled with the stresses of daily life can leave families feeling lost and disconnected. I work with children, as well as with caregivers, couples and families to manage challenges, process trauma, develop coping and problem-solving skills, and find connection points.

I find it meaningful to work with issues such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and aggression. As a marriage and family therapy intern, I view all of these through the lenses of systems and attachment. I incorporate play and other experiential therapies, emotionally focused therapy, and mindfulness into our work together. I strive to create a therapeutic space where every person will feel seen and accepted. Whatever our starting place, it would be my honor to come alongside you, your child and your family to navigate towards your emotional, behavioral and relational goals.
